Siemens at the Motek 2017
Stuttgart, Germany. From October 9 – 12, 2017, Siemens will be exhibiting in Stuttgart at the Motek, the world’s number one trade fair for production and assembly automation, with a range of comprehensive and efficient automation and drive solutions for handling applications.
Under the banner “Discover the Value of Digitalization for Handling, Assembly and Robotics”, Siemens will be exhibiting at Booth 8102 in Hall 8 with a portfolio featuring efficient design and simulation software, intuitive engineering, highly dynamic handling systems, safety technology and high-performance end-to-end communication using Profinet. A special highlight of this year’s presentation will be digitalization in the machine building sector, with a particular focus on handling applications. Using a number of machine models, the company will be illustrating how digitalization can boost efficiency, quality and productivity. The featured portfolio covers everything from integrated machine design through efficient engineering and virtual commissioning using a digital twin to operation and servicing. In addition, with the cloud-based open IoT operating system MindSphere, Siemens is demonstrating the connection of machines and physical infrastructure to the digital world.
